Wheeldon Trees Farm breakfasts available to buy

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and here at Wheeldon Trees Farm Holiday Cottages, we couldn’t agree more!

So why not get your day off to the perfect start with one of our special breakfast hampers which we can deliver to your door? Ideal for an easy, relaxing morning without having to head out to the supermarket.

Classic Derbyshire Breakfast Basket (typically ample for at least 2 breakfasts for 2 people) £19.95

  • 1 loaf of our home-made ‘Flour Power’ (mixed flour bread) – we can also do white or wholemeal on request!
  • 1 pot of our home-made butter (75g)
  • 125g of our home-made granola
  • 2 pots of our home-made natural yogurts
  • 4 of our ‘home-made’ eggs – courtesy of the Wheeldon Trees chicks
  • 1 pint semi-skimmed milk from The Peak District Dairy in Tideswell
  • 1 mini jar each of our home-made jam and marmalade
  • 2 mini pots of honey from The Honey Pot, Markeaton
  • 1 mini pot each of chocolate spread and peanut butter
  • 45g of freshly ground Fairtrade coffee (home roasted by Martin in our kitchen!)
  • 2 Staffordshire Oatcakes (a real local speciality – like a flat pancake)
  • A chunk of Peakland White cheese made by the Old Cheese Shop in Hartington
  • 750ml apple juice from Eddisbury Fruit Farm
  • 100g chocolate drops for you to melt in hot milk or munch!

The “Belter” Derbyshire Breakfast Basket (typically ample for at least 2 sizzling breakfasts for 2 people) £28.95

  • 1 pack Derbyshire Dales Organic sausages
  • 1 pack Derbyshire Dales Organic bacon
  • 1 pot of our home-made butter (75g)

  • 6 of our ‘home-made’ eggs – courtesy of the Wheeldon Trees chicks

  • 1 bag of home-made granola
  • 4 home-laid or very local free range eggs
  • 1 mini jar each of our home-made jam and marmalade
  • 1 mini jar each of chocolate spread and peanut butter
  • 1 pint semi-skimmed milk from The Peak District Dairy in Tideswell

Items from the breakfast baskets can also be pre-ordered separately or purchased from our on site food shop which you will find in our Laundry Room.

This is what I call a tiny egg and it was a double Yoker !!

Our chickens stop laying over winter so usually the first couple of eggs in the spring are minis, but that’s doesn’t really explain one this time of year.

Is it a poulets egg

Or are they on a diet.

That’s the cottage that we stayed in. Wonderful place.

you are having a pink one in tree day for your wedding aniversary.How many years ago is it?Mazeltov aslong as I remember it still.We have been 67 on the 23rd.

Beautiful place. It’s been many years since we visited but still so many happy memories.

Can't wait to be there in a couple of weeks x
