Details: Eyam Hall has been the home of the Wright family for over 300 years. The present family opened their home to the public in 1992, but it retains the intimate atmosphere of a much loved private home. Under the watchful gaze of the impressive stone flagged hall, a unique tapestry room, the bedrooms with a magnificent tester bed and costumes and all manner of fascinating artifacts. You may even come across the ghostly apparition of Sarah Mills, a young servant girl, who drowned herself in the well and is said to still answer the night bell!
