Details: A delightful heritage railway, deep in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Begin a 10.5 mile return journey from either Cheddleton or Froghall Station to the delightful hamlet of Consall Forge. The station at Cheddleton is a Grade II Victorian building and there is a replica Victorian station at Consall, with a relics museum Engine Shed. At Cheddleton there's a signal box plus catering facilities. There are souvenir shops at both stations. Steam trains run every Sunday. The newly restored Victorian stations opened at Consall Forge in 2002 and more recently the rebuilt Kingsley & Froghall station.
