'We really enjoyed our stay and absolutely love it here - the cottage was spotless and has everything in it we could possible want - very thoughtfully equipped, especially the torches, high viz vests, coffee machine etc. Will definitely recommend to friends and hope to return again' Tom and Emma, January 31st, 2012 (2nd visit)

'The locals were very friendly ! Ate at both the Packhorse and Royal Oakd and would highly recommend both. The 'walk routes' provided were very good and apart from one mishap were easy to follow. 'What a lovely weekend we had in the cottage. The accommodation was excellent, very well equipped. It was beyond our expectation. We all enjoyed it especially Millie - she loved the Long Room and could have spent all day there! We brought toys with us but had we known what was to be in the room we certainly wouldn't have bothered and would have saved a lot of space in the car. She also loved feeding the sheep and fed the chickens before we left on Sunday.
