We had challenged ourselves to climbing Kinder Scout and I knew that Deborah and Martin`s lovely accommodation was just the place to stay. Our comfortable, spotless, amazingly well equipped cottage was an excellent place to recover afterwards and the choice of home cooked meals in the freezer meant we had delicious special suppers with little effort. There is even a choice for those needing a gluten free diet. I have never stayed anywhere with such thought to detail. It means that self catering doesn`t require bringing half the kitchen with you - Deborah has thought of everything. The eco credentials are impressive and are what initially attracted me to the website and resulted in my first visit. We will need to return because we still haven`t climbed that hill in the back garden or tried the electric bikes!’ - Barbara and Emma, 22 Sep 2012 'The extra touches and attention to detail made the cottage like a home from home'.
